Point (PSAP) E911 FCC requirements. Project completion is scheduled for end
of 2015. Project Manager responsibilities include working with Design
Engineers, Implementation Engineers, Field Operations and outside vendors
to install two 2911 Cisco routers and add one new T1 circuit (or hot-cut
existing circuit) per the scope of work (SOW) requirements for each site.
Using MS Excel spreadsheets extensively. Also using multiple Verizon
databases. Required to have complete understanding of Verizon network
infrastructure topology and have the ability to fully understand MS Visio
network design drawings. Advanced understanding of telecommunications and
networking infrastructure is required for this position.

Lights Out (iLO) remediation in three large Kaiser Permanente data centers.
Coordinate the remediation team including HP Computer Engineers, IBM Wintel
System Administrators, and Citrix System Administrators throughout
remediation window. Responsible for other remediation efforts including
hardware and software upgrades to HP rack mounted and blade servers within
the data centers. Responsible for entering and updating Remedy (Version
7.6) tickets and insuring all work is completed within the maintenance
window. Using MS Excel extensively and helping train Coordinator Team how
to affective use Excel spreadsheet to drive maintenance windows. Trained
coordinators on Excel formulas to update databases and build metrics in

reaching across Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota, Colorado, Texas and New
Mexico. Responsible for driving multiple small, medium and large network
and telecommunications infrastructure and circuit installation projects.
Managed circuit and infrastructure installation, test and turn-up including
leased copper, wireless including microwave and radio, and fiber optic
cabling including underground installation and above ground Optical Ground
Wire (OPGW) installations. Projects included partnering with the Operations
teams (Motorola, AT&T and IBM) for data network support, radio and
microwave support, new infrastructure build-out, standardization including
following BICSI cabling standards. Also created process documentation

Manager (ITSM) system. Also familiar with the Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA) system which is part of an Industrial Control System
(ICS) used to control Electric and Gas control devices at the substations
and generating plants. Familiar with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
(FERC) regulations required for the transmission of electricity and gas.
Also involved in budget planning for the program plan and all associated
projects. Used MS Project and MS Excel spreadsheets extensively including
the utilization of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and critical path

non-compliant audits checks. Worked with management to insure each Line of
Business created a planning phase (including tasks, resources and deadline)

Senior Project Manager and onsite Superintendent for $2.5M Outside Plant /
Inside Plant network and telecommunications cabling project to install
cabling infrastructure for the Department of Homeland Security at Federal
Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, NM. Was responsible for
creating scope of work, design drawings, cost projections and material
lists. Interviewed, hired and managed twenty direct report staff. Created
and managed project timeline using MS Project Gantt chart including
critical path methodology. Created all invoicing and tracked all external
contractors, material orders. Planned and managed all financials,
procurements, invoicing and employee timesheets. Followed Davis-Bacon laws
and produced MS Project schedule and weekly reports for Intecon upper
management and US government (customer). Managed Safety Officer,
Installation Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, construction crew, and IT
Engineers/Technicians. Insured redline drawings were complete and project
met BICSI standards. Organized all housing for employees.
Safety: Safety was our
number one priority during this project including strict adherence to OSHA
standards, regulations and documentation. Hired full-time Safety Officer
(per contract) and took personal responsibility to insure all staff wore
hard hats, safety vests, eye/ear/skin/foot protection. Worked in confined
space, so stressed importance of daily safety checks in manholes. Conducted
daily/weekly safety meetings and explained the importance of communication
and attention to daily safety issues. Completed project with no major
injuries or accidents.
Outside-Plant: Supervised heavy
equipment excavation crew and trenched several miles for installation of 4”
PVC conduit. Installed utility vaults (manholes) and handholes. Installed
900/1500/2400 pair copper and performed splicing in man holes. Installed
several miles of multi-mode/single-mode cabling and performed fiber splicing.
Inside-Plant: Installed new
network cabinets and ladder racks in MDF and fifty IDF closets throughout
facility. Installed CAT6 and 110 block termination blocks and cut-over from
analog Avaya PBX system to new Cisco IP telecommunications network
infrastructure. Terminated and tested all fiber cable in 40 buildings
Tools: Excel spreadsheets, MS Project, CAD construction drawings
extensively for this work.
